Palau's first European contact took place in 1783 by the British Ship Antelope, commanded by the English captain Henry Wilson. Antelope was ship wrecked on a reef near Ulong, a rock island between Koror and Peleliu. Wilson and his crew stayed in Palau for three months to rebuild his ship with the assistance of Koror's high chief Ibedul. Palau has come a long way since captain Wilson landed but it's still a pure, untouched paradise. You can be assured of an extraordinary vacation experience!

Palau is a heavenly given gift with stunning natural beauty and enjoyed by diving enthusiasts from all over the world. It is located on a virtually unknown part of the globe. Palau's rock islands are covered with lush tropical jungle, exquisite waterfalls and pristine, white, sandy beaches surrounded by the clear blue water of the Pacific Ocean. Palau is the most outstanding diving spot in the world and is an experience no diver should miss. You haven't dived paradise until you've dived Palau.
