Palawan is renowned for some of the best diving in the World, whether on a luxury liveaboard trip to the World famous Tubbataha Reefs, which have been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1993 and only open to divers for three months in the year, to countless wrecks in Coron and the spectacular Islands of El Nido in the north, not forgetting of course the beautiful bay areas of Puerto Princesa and Honda Bay. All have something for everyone and given the waters of the Philippines play host to the largest number of species of corals and fish in the World, all divers of whatever level of experience will be fascinated by the underwater world of Palawan.
The Royal Oberoi Dive Center offers a full range of diving and instructional courses, from those seeking to just try diving for the first time, those wishing to enter the world of diving as a certified open water diver or all the way up to the specialty and professional instructor levels, the Royal Oberoi Dive Center can cater to all your diving needs.
Our diving packages and courses are custom made to your requirements. Diving or instruction is often on a private basis, whether as part of our unique Honda Bay Island Combo Tour or simply your tailor made diving trip or course.
For those looking to take an open water course, it can take as little as three days to become an open water diver. The online academic sessions allow students where possible to study in the comfort of their own homes and complete most of the academics even before starting their vacation. Once here, the academics are completed and then we spend a day in our spectacular pool followed by two days of open water diving.
