Get Hammered! Get Wrecked! These unorthodox words, referring to hammerhead sharks and the many nearby wrecks, invite you to Red Sea Diving College, one of the oldest dive centres in Naama Bay.

After walking down Red Seas marble steps into the dive centre's open-air courtyard, passing a water fountain and rinsing pool, youll find shaded areas to sit near the large reception area. On the left is the air-conditioned Fifties Bar, where you can drink a cappuccino or have lunch, as well as receive your morning dive briefings. On the right youll find tables and benches, where you can kit up after storing your valuables in a locker.

The dive centres house reef on Naama Bay is used for all levels of instruction, from the two-dive introduction program called Discover the Red Sea to technical diving courses, as the reef offers opportunities for dives at two, six, or twenty metres and beyond. Curiosities inside the house reef include amphoras, a pyramid, and Dave's Grave, which is not the final resting place of an unfortunate Open Water student but rather a marker for a sea turtle who used to live on the reef. The dive centre invites guests to note which fish they have spotted on the board next to reception, and every day features a turtle boat, where one guest is nominated to be in charge of logging all of the sea turtle sightings for the excursion.

The reigning five-year recipient of the prestigious Dive Centre of the Year Award by Dive Magazine, nineteen year-old Red Sea Diving College is the only PADI Career Development Centre in Naama Bay. Today, they offer day trips, snorkeling, and safari trips, as well as technical courses and the use of Diver Propulsion Vehicles. And when you return from your dives, you may experience what some claim is the true inspiration behind the Get Hammered and Get Wrecked courses: the notorious evening bar sessions for Red Sea College staff and their guests!
