The Cortez Club is La Paz’s premier diving and watersports center.

Established since 1993 it offers a 5 star level of service, quality and professionalism to all its clients. From large groups to individuals you will receive personal attention and service second to none.

The Cortez Club prides itself on service and combined with the beauty that the “Sea of Cortez” has to offer, provides “you” the client, with everlasting memories. We offer a wide range of aquatic activities including: scuba diving, sport fishing, whale watching, and a range of water sports.

Day diving trips 2 or 3 tanks, liveaboard diving expeditions and instruction from “open water” certification through to“ instructor”. Nitrox and rebreathers are also available for the more experienced divers.

Our unsurpassed service is geared toward a hassle free and relaxing dive experience. You will find all your equipment waiting for you on the boat in the morning, which will be moored at our private jetty.

During the day, all your equipment will be set up for you, unless you wish to do it yourself. Leaving you only to slip your equipment on and dive.

At the end of the day, just stroll up to our Sunset Bar to order your favourite drink, while your equipment is unloaded, rinsed in fresh water and stored for you, ready for the next day of spectacular diving.
