Brac Scuba Shack is owned and operated by Martin van der Touw, Liesel van der Touw and Steve Reese. All of us have been in the Cayman Islands for more than 15 years. We are here because we recognize the need on Cayman Brac for a dive operator specializing in boat groups of no more than eight divers, as well as service and support for shore diving.
With smaller groups, we provide an excellent service, and we pay attention to detail.
Our mission is to provide top-quality service from qualified, friendly staff. Whether it is your first time experiencing the underwater splendor of Cayman Brac or if you are an experienced scuba diver, we ensure that your diving vacation is a safe and enjoyable experience.
As a family-owned business, we understand the importance and value of a family vacation, and we take utmost care to accommodate your family’s needs.
Experience Cayman Brac
Diving in Cayman Brac is like no other dive experience in the Caribbean. You will first notice the friendly local residents and the relaxed island atmosphere. Our staff will introduce you to our underwater paradise. The water is clear year-round, and our dive sites are a short boat ride from the dock. Many of our dive sites are accessible from shore. We can assist you with equipment and guided shore diving, or you can explore shore diving on your own.
We offer daily morning and afternoon dives for all levels of certification and are flexible with our departure times. Each of our boats is comfortable and is equipped with safety gear, including a DAN O2 kit, hookah regulator and weighted chain at 15 feet. Each boat has a fresh-water rinse facility and a marine head. After you are done with your diving for the day, we take care of your gear, rinsing it with fresh water and keeping it at the shop until you are ready for your next dive excursion.
