Vacationers will find a range of holiday resorts from which to choose for their ideal beachfront accommodation. Whether you’re looking for a romantic getaway or an excursion for the entire family, the Mamanuca islands has something to fit everyone’s needs.
This group of islands has two very distinctive diving environments: the calm protected waters of Mamanuca lagoon and the barrier reef outside the lagoon that surrounds this island chain. Novice divers and snorkelers alike will thoroughly enjoy the multitude of coral outcroppings and warm calm waters inside the lagoon. Passages through the barrier reef allow the Pacific Ocean to enter the lagoon and are a hotspot for diving with Manta Rays, sharks and Marlin. Watch dive-masters chum white and black tipped reef sharks at the Supermarket or venture outside the reef where you can soar over the edge of a 1000 metre drop-off for one of the most spectacular wall dives in the world.
