Dune Towers is family resort run by European family of divers who built this place in natural location of Alankuda, Sri Lanka in between coconut platations and Indian Ocean.
Around Dune Towers you can find more than 20 dive sites of modest depths (12-20 meters) which can be accessed by boat. Kalpitiya peninsula is extending the land into the Ocean and thanks to the shape of continental shelf it is home many varieties of whales and dolphins. Scuba divers can meet several kinds of morray eels, rays and sting rays, napoleon fish, large schools, soft and hard coral, coral fish.
We offer beatiful rooms or family suites in a tropical garden near beach with meals, we offer plenty of activities. For divers we can arrange 1-2 dive per day including full service boat trip or multiple day trip exploring several dive sites for certified divers or you do the course here and get cerfitication.

We are visiting Kalpitiya area in Sri Lanka regularly for several years and it is perfect! We have been staying at Dune Towers resort in Alankuda who arranged all the scuba diving with Sam and safari and other trips in Kalpitiya.
We are meeting morray eels and various rays every dive. Most of our dives was in 13-18 meters with very nice visibility of 15-20 meters. This season we have enjoyed with my daughter dive sites right in front of Dune Towers resort in Alankuda. We have seen big marble rays and huge schools of fish, beautiful moray eels, shrimps cleaners and many more.
