The Scuba Culture dive club has been formed to give our members what they want and need out of their club. We have been able to do this by asking questions, looking at our track record of successful events over the years, and offering club members incentives to be active.

Meet the Crew

Most of our staff are all in-house trained from Open Water to Instructor status, and if their background is from elsewhere, they have been put through a rigorous indoctrination and training procedure to ensure that our values are reflected in their approach to their work.

XAVIER

(Director, Instructor Trainer, Course Director)

Xavier has been diving since the age of 8, Xavier’s love of diving and the sea comes from his father, whom as well was a diving instructor in the 60′s in France. Xavier is a NAUI Course Director, an NASDS Instructor Trainer, SSI Instructor certifier, and is a DAN Oxygen Provider and First Aid Instructor.

Xavier has taught Scuba extensively both in Australia and overseas. With well over 4000 certified Open Water divers trained in his career, Xavier is arguably one of the most experienced instructors of Scuba in Australia.

MELISSA

Melissa is a keen diver with both work and academic accreditations and experience in the tourism, travel, and communications industries. She is kept busy by her 2 little boys and the mountain of paperwork that she must climb in order to keep Scuba Culture in line.

ANDREW

(Dive Control Specialist Instructor / Service Technician)

Andrew keeps himself busy by teaching various scuba courses, servicing scuba gear and helping to uphold a very high level of public decency. He has been diving since last century and so is one of our most experienced and well regarded Instructors.

MARCO

(Advanced Open Water Instructor / Technical Instructor)

Marco computer nerd by trade, Instructor by nature!! Marco’s hard work and love of the underwater environment has seen him come all the way through his training to Instructor.
