I had two other groups of friends dive with them prior to my trip and they had a similar experience.  While it isn't an inexpensive trip, I do think that it's less than you would pay to stay in landbased resort in the Maldives and you get to see so much more.  I was in a lower level cabin and it was spacious and quite comfortable. The Carpe Vita is a bit more than her sister-ship, the Carpe Diem, but you get four dives a day instead of three and some different itineraries. Hope you can make it! It does seem a good option and even though more expensive than i would normally pay for a holiday it sounds worth it for the diving.
